Hello. In this article i would be telling you all about my interview experience at Delhivery.
It all started when i met my childhood friend who was working in Delhivery for past 6 months. He has a good reputation in the company. So he forwarded my resume to his manager (remember that he forwarded my resume to his manager and not to his HR team).
Soon i got a message from the company saying that come tomorrow for the interview (i somehow managed to convince the recruiter to postpone the interview by a day as i had to travel for 24 hours to reach the location).
As there was some congestion in their main building situated in sector 44 gurgaon, so they have shifted their operations Department to a new location nearby at times square sector 43 sushant lok in gurgaon.
I reached there at sharp 10am as i was told. Then after sometime my interview got started.
There were 2 rounds of interview.
First round was a bit technical but got started with general questions like 'tell me something about yourself', 'what are your goals' etc. and then came the technical questions from ms excel. As my job designation was operations executive so my main working platform was supposed to be this ms excel.
They asked me quetions about pivot table and vlookup formula. If are coming for this job profile then be ready for quetions from these topics.
The next round was like a conversation round with the manager. The manager was a cool dude kind of person and at the same time he was very witty. As my friend had already told me not act fake so i was all set to behave normally as a person that i actually am.
There were tricky questions like what if you will get another job in 2 3 months? Why are you coming so far? Why are you leaving your parents? What are your salary expectations? What are your goals? What is more important for you money or success? Etc. Etc.
Anyways i managed to get that job. God knows what it was that helped me in sucuring it, Whether it was something in me that they liked or my friend's reputation. But now i am working in this company. I will share my experiences with you all in time to come. Till then bye.
