Andhra CM says Telangana was a 'painful' decision

New Delhi: India is all set to get its 29th state – Telangana, which was endorsed by UPA allies and cleared by the powerful Congress Working Committee on Tuesday evening.

While the decision has been welcomed by pro-Telangana supporters, those opposed to the move have termed it suicidal.

Wednesday is set to witness hectic activity with regard to the Telangana issue. Here are the live updates:

Reports said Andhra CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, who is from the Rayalaseema region and is a staunch supporter of the "united Andhra Pradesh" cause, told his ministers today that the decision on Telangana was "painful" for him as well. He however added that there was now a need to look at the road ahead and how to move ahead on the new states.

P Ramesh Babu, Congress MLA from Pendurthy Assembly constituency, resigns to protest the Congress decision to form a separate Telangana state.

Decision is in favour of Telangana because ultimately Hyderabad will be Telangana's capital, says Digvijay Singh. Decision is also in favour of Rayalaseema and Andhra so that both can progress and be self-reliant, he adds.

Until a new capital is formed for Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad will be capital of both states, says Congress' Digvijay Singh.

BJP and Narendra Modi should welcome the decision (on Telangana) and not question the delay, intentions behind the decision etc, says Jagdambika Pal of the Congress.

Effigies of Congress president Sonia Gandhi burnt during anti-Telangana protests.

The shutdown has hit normal life in Visakhapatnam, Vijayanagaram, Eluru, Kakinada, Vijayawada, Guntur, Nellore, Ongole, Chittoor, Tirupati, Anantapur, Kadapa, Kurnool and other towns.

Hundreds of vehicles are on the Vijayawada-Hyderabad and the Chennai-Bhubaneswar highways.

Road transport has come to a standstill while shops, business establishments and educational institutions have remained closed in the two regions.

Protests have begun in coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions.

Hundreds of police and paramilitary personnel have been deployed in the two regions to maintain law and order.

Union Cabinet is set to meet on Wednesday to discuss Telangana - a separate state to be carved out of Andhra Pradesh. While the agenda of the special Cabinet meeting has not been disclosed, sources say it is most likely to take up and approve the creation of Telangana.

A day-long bandh has been called across coastal and southern Andhra Pradesh to protest the proposed creation of Telangana.

A 'hurt' Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, senior Congress leader and Lok Sabha member from Guntur, said he was resigning from the party as well as his Parliamentary seat in protest.

Congress ministers and MPs from Andhra Pradesh are expected to meet state Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy today.

Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh told a press conference last evening that the creation of Telangana will take around four to five months. "The entire process should take around four to five months," he said.

After the Cabinet approves Telangana, the CWC resolution will be sent to the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, which will have to approve it.

Next, the Central government would set up a group of ministers (GoM) which will go into the details of sharing the assets like water resources, boundary, finances and security related issues between Telangana and the rest of Andhra Pradesh.

The Law Ministry will then draft a bill for creation of Telangana state which will be sent to the Union Home Ministry.

The suggestions of the state Assembly will not be binding on the Home Ministry.

The bill, once approved by the Union Cabinet, will then be sent to President Pranab Mukherjee for his approval.

It will then be sent to Parliament to be passed by a simple majority in both the Houses. Once approved by Parliament, the bill will again be sent to the President for his assent.

my experience with SPCET

I was a student of SPGC, MOHALI so  I decided to write something about it.
Swami Parmanand Group of Colleges is situated in the village of Jaulan Kalan, near Lalru in the district of Mohali.
The college is easily reachable from the major cities nearby like Ambala, Chandigarh, Mohali, Patiala and Panchkula.
Buses run frequently from these cities to Lalru which is the nearest bus stop.
If you are coming from Ambala then look for a bus for Chandigarh and ask the conductor if it stops at Lalru.
From Lalru you can take an auto rikshaw which will leave you to college gate and charge you around Rs. 10.

This college group has emerged as a renowned group of institutions in Punjab.
There are 3 colleges in the campus; namely, Swami Parmanand College of Engineering and Technology (S.P.C.E.T.), Swami Parmanand Engineering College (S.P.E.C.) and Swami Parmanand Polytechnic (S.P.P.).
One can easily find students from all over north India in the college campus from states like Punjab, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi/ NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand and even from distant North-Eastern states.

In all my years of degree, I have never felt like being away from home as you can easily find some friends from your town or state.
Its very homely here.
The accomodation facility for students is also good, as college provides good hostels in campus, seperately for both girls and boys.
But you cannot be very demanding when it comes to food. You will definately not like the food after some time as the menu does not change.
The food is healthy but it may not suit your taste on daily basis.
And also do not waste time in complaining to warden as it is of no use.

But do not worry about food much, because there is a very good canteen in the campus where you can get a variety of food during college hours and even after the college hours.

The academic part in this college is totally up to you.
If you are an average student don't expect the faculties to do some magic work for you.
There are many university toppers from this college and on the other hand, there are many who have lots of reappears with them.
The teaching staff is not very experienced here but is very helpful.
You can contact any lecturer any time as they are ready to help everytime you approach them.
The nearest shopping place from the college is in the village of Malakpur which is 0.5 km from the college gate.
Here you can find all the miscelleneous items of your need.
If you wish for some big shopping then you should go to Lalru, or even Ambala or Chandigarh if your shopping list is a bit longer.

Many of the students also reside in flats or PGs nearby areas like Malakpur and Lalru.
Also, if you can afford, then you can look for rooms in Ambala or Chandigarh also.
The PGs here provide the food also but if you are in seperate flat then you have too arrange for your food yourself.

About placements:
Keep one thing in mind, whatever the college tells you about its placement records please don't believe that because there would be hardly even 30% of truth in that.
Most of the companies which visit the campus (don't think that many companies visit here) are the training institutes which select you in so-called campus placement and enroll you for some course and even charge you for that.
The college counts that as placement and proudly displays the name list which is entirely a lie because this is not placement.
The truth is that there are not even 5% student placed from about 1000 students from colleges group which pass out every year.
This pathetic situation is not only in this college but in many colleges of India.
But its more severe here.
If you want to do engineering to get placed in some good companies then please take admission in some good reputed colleges, even if it costs you one or two extra years after your 10+2 else you will waste you valuable 4 years for nothing like I did. Its ok if you have someone to refer you in good company, else doing such a degree is of no use.

CORPORATE SOCIETY (CIPL)- NO LESS THAN ANY SCAM!!

This is about my experience with corporate society. Read this if you don't want such experience to happen to you.

Website- corporatesociety.org , cipl.net.in
(please notice that they themselves do not own a .com website, but will sell you a .com website. Such cheaters are they.)

Important note: if you are not an IT professional or you don't have any knowledge of web designing then believ me, whatever they will sell you will be of no use to you and by saying no use to you I really mean that it won't help you even 1% in earning money.

Now, my story:
I joined this corporate society when I was in 2nd year of my b.tech in punjab.
The word corporate society was a buzz word in those days in my campus. A friend of mine joined this company. And by joining, it doesn't means you are employed by this company. It means that you are fooled by them for paying around Rs. 7800 for a product that is of no use to you.
But you won't realise this soon.

So, my friend joined this company, was regularly trying to convince me too for joining it. Since I was in need of money at that time, I was attracted towards this.
One day he took me to kala kendra, chandigarh. He told me that today is a seminar about corporate society where you will be told how to become rich and etc. etc.
Greed is a human nature which blocks your senses and all you see is money and becoming rich.
The same thing happened with me too.
I paid Rs. 35 for that seminar and was comfortably seated inside the .
Inside the auditorium I saw many young boys and girls well proffesionally dressed who were trying to behave as if they are the busiest bee in this world. There was very heavy bass music being played inside along with many inspirational songs.
Then came a person very nicely dressed and boasted that he is the general maneger (in my case this was some shehzad) of this region only to make an impression that this some really big company.
Then he carried on boasting 'aaj aapki life change ho jaygi', 'duniya badal jaygi' etc.etc.
Then he introduced a person, 'aaj main aapke saamne ek aise shaks ko bulaane ja raha hoon jinhone apne dum pe ye kiya wo kiya and all that.
This person was a fat dumb looking guy named saurabh khurana.
He also carried on boasting and exaggerating his points. Behind him was a big screen with a projector on it and he started making count things like cms, google adsense,  web hosting, domain registration, seo, educational softwares and loads of various alien things, and then he said that if you go to purchase all these things separately, it may cost millions but corporate society provides you these things only for Rs. 7750.
I am telling all these things in details because this is how they will make you fool step by step.
Then he played the main card. He said that this product has a business part in which you can earn lacs and lacs of rupees, buy mercedes, audi, etc.
This was same like any multi-level marketing fraud. He further explains that you have to refer 2 of your friends on one leg and 1 on the other and you will get a check of Rs. 2000. He showed some chart in which it was described how can I'll able to earn Rs. 32 lac. in one year.
It was a complete 3 hours drama. In the end was a parade kind of thing in which so-called team managers one by one declared their earning of a week, 'main ek hafte me 25,000 kamata hoon, meri downline 60 ki hai', ' main ek hafte me 40,000 kamata hoon, meri downline 100 ki hai' etc.etc.
Please don't mistake to believe them, this is all a lie. Above all, nobody there will tell you about their income from their website because there is none.

I realised all these fraudulent things very late. But once I realised, I vowed that I won't let this happen to anyone else.

Note: they are not giving you any thing from their side, its what you made them gain they are giving you a portion of it.
For example- you bought the product, you paid them around Rs. 7800.

To get your first check of Rs. 2000, you need to add 3 persons, 2 on one leg and one on the other.
 So, what  the company gained??
 3x Rs. 7800= Rs. 23, 400+ Rs. 7800 of yours which equal Rs. 31,100.
and what they gave you??
Rs. 2000!! 1/15th of total amount they gained through you!! It doesn't ends here.
To recover all you Rs. 7800, you'll required to add up around 14 more people.
And you can yourself calculate what they gained seating in air-conditioned car after all and what you earned wasting your valuable time.

My friends I've realised after this that becoming rich or earning money is not that easy.
Due to this corporate society, I have seen many friendship broken due to greed. Suppose you and your friend are in this and you have some friends in common, then there develops a competition between you too which severes your friendship forever.

Friends, don't ever join any such company. Concentrate on your study, you will become rich some day.
 Success doesn't comes that easy.

Things to do and not to do:

1. If ever any one comes to you with this scheme, straight away ask them for their google adsense checks.

2. Don't believe them untill they don't provide you one.

3. Don't accept checks of any other person who they say is their senior or something like that.

4. Don't even think of joining this if you wish to earn from the website they'll provide because no matter how much easy they tell it is to earn from the website, you can't do anything untill you know basic web designing.

5.  Don't simply believe them about google adsense because earning from google adsense is not that easy as you cannot fool google.
6. Don't get trapped in their lies about their earnings.

PLEASE WARN YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT THIS!!!

burning issues-1

Recently, I noticed that media is branding the religious acts of Indian people as some malpractice and also blaming common people for everything wrong.
There are a lot of such cases, but some of them really shocked me that how could the media be so partial?
During MAHAKUMBH in allahabad, a lot of cry was heard for the upliftment of the standard of GANGA.
I saw many hoardings and posters quoting slogans preaching people not to pollute the river and that this river should be protected.
These posters were placed at every nook and corner, electric poles and bridges, and of course on every inch of outer walls of houses.
THE common slogans were:
                                                           "DON'T DUMP WASTE IN GANGA"
                                                           "DON'T WASH COTHES IN GANGA"
"DON'T DUMP FLOWERS AND ASHES IN GANGA"
and so on. . . . .
NOW, try and answer these questions:

question no.1}} WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DUMPING TONNES AND TONNES AS WELL AS LITRES AND LITRES OF UNTREATED AND UNCHECKED HARMFUL WASTES
                                 IN THE GANGA??
Whether it is the responsibility of each and every indivdual and are they to be only blamed for this??
                                                                    OR
Whether it is the responsibility of the municipal corporation and other concerning departments who have the responsibilities
of disposings wastes carefully and often recieve financial aid for this cause??

question no.2}} How much do you expect a detergent used by washerman to cause pollution??
Is it equivalent to the pollution caused by hazardous chemical disposed by leather factories (tanneries) of kanpur  ??

question no.3}} Isn't it true that a river has a self cleaning system in which it purifies all the bio-degradable wastes and also chemical
wastes upto some extent after covering a certain length??
And if that is true, isn't it also true that the flowers and ashes disposed in the river also get cleaned??

FRIENDS, always keep in mind that GANGA is here since thousands of years, but is now endangered, which means that if required care is not taken towards
cleaning GANGA then a day will come when we will see ganga only in pictuers.

NOW, THE POINT IS WHAT CAN WE DO??????
Practically speaking, I believe that as an individual we can simply do nothing, except flooding the city with banners and posters quoting river saving
slogans as if that only is sufficient to remove dissolved chemicals from the river water and starving yourself by doing ANSHANS.
My friends, in INDIA, the media only focusses on anshans taken by some so called great personalities. IF you are starving for a holy cause, then the
world will know you only after you are no more a part of it.

But then the question arises that why media blames the common people for the slow death of GANGA?? There is a very simple answer for this i.e. WE ARE THE
EASIEST TARGET. Why should media point finger on the industries who advertise with them?? But someone is to be blamed. So, if anything happens, they blame
the people. Have you ever heard media pointing finger at leather industries of kanpur for polluting ganga?? Or have you ever seen media raising the issue
of the harm done to the environment and to the river itself due to the construction on dam?? The answer is NO. And even if there are some reports on that,
they are not telecasted as necessasirily as they should be.
At last I would like to say that, please don't be ashamed in performing your rituals which involves ganga but in keep in mind, DON'T THROW ANYTHING IN GANGA
 WHICH CANNOT BE DECOMPOSED NATURALLY.

my experience of allahabad-1

The city of Allahabad is much more than I actually thought.
Mughar emperor Akbar renamed the city of Prayag to allahabad which means 'city of allah (the term for god in islam)', but the name Prayag is still popular among people all over India.
This city is very very historical dating back to the Pauranic period of the Sanaatan religion.
Akbar was so convinced with the mystical nature of this place that he renamed this place.
There is a popular fort built by Akbar besides the 'sangam', the place where the mighty river Ganga(ganges), yamuna and mythological river Saraswati meet.
This Sangam witnesses the huge gathering of people every year specially after a gap of 6 years(ardh-kumbh) and 12years(purn-kumbh or simply kumbh).
As per an estimate, the number of people gathering here at that time is not in lacs but in crores.

My purpose of visit to allahabad was my final semester internship at IFFCO fertilizer plant, Phulpur.
The training department here usually provide industrial training to engineering students for a maximum duration of 2 months, as that is the required criteria for most of the colleges nearby affiliated by UPTU.
But since I got some connections inside, I managed to get a chance for industrial training for 6 months.
The final semester of b.tech in PTU is completely meant for  industrial training. So, my training is going on and is expected to end in june.
I'll share more of my experience in days to come. Till then, good bye.:)

visiting IFFCO, phulpur

The phulpur fertiliser unit of IFFCO (INDIAN FARMERS FERTILISER COOPERATIVE ltd.) is located in the ghiyanagar area of phulpur.
Its located in the district of allahabad and is situated on the outskirts of the city on the route which connects allahabad to varanasi.
There are frequent buses that ply from civil lines depote to phulpur via chungi, jhoosi, sahso etc. and they charge Rs. 25 as fare.
The distance between phulpur and civil lines bus stand is about 25km. Phulpur is also connected by a railway lines.
Most of the trains which move on allahabad-varanasi rail route stop at phulpur and ghiyanagar railway stations.
Also, if you are an employee or trainee of IFFCO then there are buses for you from inside the IFFCO township which charge nominally, about Rs. 5.
These buses are contracted by IFFCO and run frequently between IFFCO plant to allahabad at regular intervals of time with first bus at 7:00 am and last bus at 7:30 pm.
If you are at allahabad railway station then simply get out at civil lines side and ask anyone where is harsh hotel. There you will get a bus for IFFCO at regular intervals.
